There are dozens of diseases that have been proven to be effected by fucoidan, with NO harmful effects. RECOMMENDED USAGE

MODIFILAN is best taken on an empty stomach, such as upon rising in the morning with plenty of water, as it is highly concentrated product. It is not recommended to take MODIFILAN before bedtime, as most people report an increased energy level, which could inhibit sleep.

MODIFILAN does not cause nausea on an empty stomach, as most vitamins usually do; on the contrary, it gives a feeling of well being in the stomach and intestines. Since MODIFILAN is NATURAL NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENT and not a drug, these
recommended dosages are approximate, and you may find your own ideal dosage.

*   For general health and prophylactic purposes take 4 capsules per day.

*   To reach the best healing results for people who have serious conditions such as cancer, high blood sugar, cardiovascular diseases, high cholesterol, poor thyroid function it is recommended to enhance their diet with taking MODIFILAN in larger quantities, such as 8 to 10 capsules* per day (4 to 5 grams) for period of three months. HOW MUCH IODINE IS IN MODIFILAN?

According to a chemically standardized test, 3 grams or 6 capsules of Modifilan (which is considered a good daily dosage) have about 80 to 100 mcg of iodine.

This reading, though, does not apply to a total naturally occurring volume of iodine, the state found in full synergetic connection with all other organic elements, which make iodine in foods well accepted by thyroid with no redundancy.

Total iodine volume in 3 grams of Modifilan varies from 1200 to 1800 mcg, depending on a harvesting season of seaweed, which this extract is made of.

About Gelatin vs. Vegetarian capsules

Modifilan is available in either gelatin or vegetarian capsules. There is no difference between these two options in terms of pricing and packaging.

However, we strongly recommend taking our product in gelatin capsules. Only a vegan person can find “vege-caps” useful. It is true that “vege-caps” dissolve in water, but this is just a marketing trick – they do not dissolve in acid, and instantly
coagulate, capturing food in them. Our stomach is filled with acid.

Gelatin capsules dissolve in the stomach. This permits the product they contain to stay longer in the active gastro-intestinal tract, to be better processed and to deliver their full spectrum of mineral properties.

Vegetarian capsules lack naturally occurring protein. As a result, the stomach does not recognize a vegetarian capsule as food, so the capsule only dissolves in bile, in the lower GI tract.

Pacific Standard Distributors uses only the highest medical-quality certified (nonGMO/nonBSA) Kosher, non-porcine gelatin capsules by Capsugel?.

If you are reluctant to use gelatin capsules for your own specific reasons, please consider ordering our products in vegetarian capsules (V-cap? is kosher product of Capsugel?). Notes: Vegetarian capsules are not made of vegetable oil, and most of them have nothing to do with vegetables.
